EBCA Celebrates 10 Years in '09!

Celebrating its tenth anniversary year in 2009, East Boulder County Artists (EBCA) is a diverse group of artists from East Boulder County.  Founded in 1999, EBCA brings to the community a variety of events, specifically the annual EBCA Studio Tour.  We open our studios for one weekend in May and invite the public to meet with the artists and see for themselves who we are, how we work, and the environments we have created to make our art.  Our reputation for excellence is well known, and attendance and interest from the community continues to grow. Media categories include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels,  fused glass, sculpture, ceramics, cast paper, bookmaking, art quilting, woodcarving, photography, collage and jewelry making.

We also offer member artists opportunities to participate in outreach opportunities, and other art events year round.  Our growing group of visual artists provides ongoing outreach/educational workshops and demonstrations to children and adults in a variety of venues throughout the year.   Our Mission is to promote the visual arts, with an emphasis on education and outreach in East Boulder County.  We work to build a strong and diverse arts community while serving the needs of our member artists.

“BIG ENOUGH:  Art by East Boulder County Artists” is a special 10th anniversary exhibit where each artist was asked to create a miniature piece of artwork no larger than 64 square inches.
