We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2009!
East Boulder County Artists (EBCA) is a diverse group of artists from Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont and Erie. Founded in 1999, EBCA brings to the community a variety of events throughout the year, and is most well known for its annual EBCA Studio Tour.
One weekend in May, we open our studios and invite the public to meet with the artists and see for themselves who we are, how we work, and the environments we have created to make our art. Our reputation for excellence is well known, and attendance and interest from the community continues to grow. Media categories include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, fused glass, sculpture, ceramics, cast paper, bookmaking, art quilting, woodcarving, photography, collage and jewelry making.
This year you can visit artists in their studios on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 & 3 from 10AM - 5PM.
You have several opportunities to get a sneak peek at our artists' work, helping you decide which studios you want to visit on May 3rd & 4th:
- Opening Reception at Old Firehouse Art Center: Friday, April 24, 6-8pm (Longmont)
- Ongoing show at OFAC: APRIL 24 - May 5th (Longmont)
- Preview show at Lafayette Library: April 5th - May 8th (Lafayette)
- Big Enough! Miniature show at Boulder Arts & Craft Gallery: April 29 – May 27 (Boulder)
- Opening Reception at The Art Underground: Friday, April 17 (Louisville)
- Preview Show at Whole Foods: Wednesday, April 29th, 5-9pm (Superior)
